Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English model, actress, and television personality who gained fame during the 1990s after she was the girlfriend of Hugh Grant. In 1994 as Grant gained worldwide media attention due to the box office boom of his movie Four Weddings and a Funeral Hurley accompanied him to the film's Los Angeles premiere in a plunging black Versace dress held together with gold safety pins that earned immediate media attention. Hurley's friendship to Estee Lauder is her most memorable professional experience. Her first modeling gig was at Estee Lauder, when she was 29 years old. She's been a model since the year 1995 to promote their cosmetics, and in particular perfumes like Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures. Her most well-known work is her part as Vanessa Kensington, in the popular spy-films International Man of Mystery (2007) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (2000). Hurley has been modeling and designing an eponymous beachwear line.
